The Lab Next to the Farmer's Field
Agriculture depends upon accurate knowledge of soil fertility and health. Chemistry provides the measurements needed to understand the state of soils so that farmers can successfully grow the foods that sustain us.
Unfortunately, the laboratories that provide the necessary measures are often far removed from the farmer’s field and necessary results may be weeks away. The critical results are just another sample for technicians who run thousands of such samples every week.
EPOCH’s lab is among the fields of Wayne County, NY. We live among the farms, experiencing first-hand the same environment that affects growing crops. We know the geologic history of the area and have an intimate understanding of the unique climate, soils, and rocks of western New York.
Our location alongside the farmers that we support helps us better meet the needs of Wayne County growers. We’re a friendly face to ask questions of and to get meaningful answers in the context of our home. We offer convenient sample drop-off and rapid turn-around for critical, time-sensitive results.
